Kourtney was crowned Miss Texas International on February 12, 2017. She will continue her journey of sharing her message and empowering teens statewide and internationally to achieve their ultimate goals without letting their background define who they are as individuals.

This workshop is hosted by Kourtney to provide aspiring models with all the information needed to begin their modeling career. A creative team is chosen for the day to ensure ultimate professionalism. Models leave the workshop with posing skills, tips for open calls and 4 new edits for their portfolio.
At the age of 18, I found myself homeless as the result of a unique family situation. After losing everything, I decided to attend college and create the reality and future I knew was possible. During my college career, I was introduced to the Boys & Girls Club by a family friend and had the opportunity to work the Upward Bound Program as a mentor to teens breaking into the somewhat intimidating process of college application and acceptance. This is the summer I realized my story was not only relatable to these teens, but it encouraged them to be more than the product of their circumstances and continue the fight to achieve their ultimate dreams with a limitless mindset.
